Kelsey is a research coordinator with the Inner City Health and Wellness Program at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta. She conducts research on needle and syringe programs and supervised consumption services to support the expansion of these services.
John Christy Johnson is a graduate student at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and Faculty of Engineering. He is a research assistant with the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab, a member of the Sensory Motor Adaptive Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Network, and advocates for mental health, inclusive design, and universal accessibility.
Mohammad Hasan currently works as an addictions counsellor at the Edmonton Day Hospital, which opened in January 2019 as a new AHS initiative that provides a cost effective alternative to inpatient care for acutely ill patients with addiction and mental health issues.
Dr Lim is the Medical Director for the AHS Calgary Injectable Opioid Program and Calgary Opioid Dependency Program.
Daniel O’Brien is a graduate student at the University of Alberta’s School of Public Health and research assistant with the Royal Alexandra Hospital’s Inner City Health and Wellness Program.
Linda is the Provincial Addiction and Mental Health Manager, Information and Child Youth and Family Initiatives Standards, Alberta Health Services.
Kristen is a clinical social worker employed with Forensic Assessment and Outpatient Services (FAOS) since 2017. She is currently employed as a Mental Health Therapist for the Rocky Mountain Program, working with individuals with substance abuse and offending behaviors. She has worked in Addiction and Mental Health since 2012.
Megg is a fourth year Undergraduate Student at the University of Calgary working towards a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours), majoring in Health and Society.
