Freda Sakebow, MISW (In Progress)

Freda Sakebow is a Saulteaux-Cree self identified two-spirit woman from the Saulteaux First Nation, Saskatchewan. She lives a Cree ceremonial way of life and has lived experience with residential school, gang involvement, foster care, addictions, and incarceration.

Ms. Sakebow is currently completing the MISW degree; she is passionate about sharing Indigenous therapeutic modalities, and a strong believer in Wahkotowin – kinship building.
